Kundan is a dual-qualified lawyer of proven standing, admitted to practise in both India and England and Wales. He brings to Cassadys over two decades of serious, high-stakes litigation and international legal practice at the very highest levels — combining the rare distinction of being an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India with full qualification as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
In a career spanning more than twenty years, Kundan has developed a distinguished practice focused on complex investment structures, international routing of investments, hedge fund-related matters, and issues concerning blockchain and tokenisation. His work extends to high-value commercial disputes, arbitration, and sophisticated financial and regulatory matters, often involving cross-border dimensions. He brings particular strength in comparative commercial law, alongside deep experience in civil and constitutional law frameworks across jurisdictions. In addition, he regularly handles civil suits, property and landlord–tenant disputes, as well as high-stakes appellate proceedings, reflecting a breadth of practice that is both multidisciplinary and internationally oriented.
As head of Cassadys’ India-UK Desk, Kundan leads the firm’s India-UK facing practice, providing integrated legal counsel to businesses, investors, and individuals whose interests span the India–UK corridor. He brings with him an established referral and advisory network spanning the Middle East, Mauritius, Seychelles, France, and South-East Asia, enabling Cassadys to offer clients seamless, coordinated support across multiple jurisdictions from a single point of contact.
Before joining Cassadys, Kundan was granted rights of audience as an Attorney-at-Law in the Supreme Court of Seychelles and its Court of Appeal, and served as Amicus Curiae to the Supreme Court of India — an appointment made by the court itself in recognition of the quality and independence of his legal judgment. He is a Distinguished Member of the International Council of Jurists and a Member of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
Alongside his association with Cassadys, Kundan continues to lead Kundan Mishra Law Offices, his established litigation and advisory practice headquartered in Delhi NCR, India. Operating as a mirror India-UK Desk from Delhi, the practice serves as the on-the-ground engine of his international practice — advising corporate and private clients on investment structuring, commercial transactions, and dispute resolution across the India–UK corridor, with particular reach into Seychelles and associated offshore jurisdictions. Kundan has a practice spanning across various State High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. This dual-node structure, anchored in London through Cassadys and in Delhi NCR through Kundan Mishra Law Offices, enables clients to access seamlessly coordinated, senior-level legal counsel across jurisdictions — whether their matter is rooted in Indian law, English law, or the offshore commercial frameworks of the Indian Ocean region.
